Two working examples from our own websites. Qubi makes a technical studio easier to explore. Roxy gives an AI operating system a voice and a presence.

Qubi uses the same pixel character in films and guided page tours.

Read Roxy’s introduction

Hello. I’m Roxy. I live in yourOS, the AI operating system QQuantum is building. I make your calls, even in your own voice. I plan your days with you, and I work on your projects with a crew of agents, on your own private server. And the tools QQuantum builds next will live in here, with me. Press play, and I’ll show you.

These demos use recordings. They are not a live conversation with an AI. Roxy’s sample introduces yourOS; it does not describe this service. You can explore both sites without using voice.

From first sketch to shipped character

We make the whole thing.

Character design and production engineering belong in the same conversation. The result should feel like your brand and work inside your real website.

  • 01

    Define the useful job

Choose the audience, the difficult moment and the outcome. Agree where the character appears, when it stays quiet and how a visitor dismisses it.

  • 02

    Design a personality

Original concepts, silhouette, expressions, colour and a character voice. Pixel, vector, illustration or 3D: chosen around your brand and delivery budget.

  • 03

    Give it a performance

Idle, greeting, explaining, thinking, success and farewell. Voice direction, reviewed scripts, captions and expressive animation that still reads at phone size.

  • 04

    Build it into your site

Responsive placement, real navigation, content hooks and optional knowledge or tool integrations. Delivered for your stack, with source code and integration notes.

  • 05

    Test the experience

Keyboard, touch, reduced motion, captions, small screens and content clearance. Measure loading and runtime performance on the pages that actually ship.

  • 06

    Keep it useful

A content and recording update process, an agreed analytics plan and a maintenance handover. Track task completion and feedback; revise the parts that get in the way.

Designed for the real web

Personality on the surface. Solid foundations underneath.

A mascot should make your website easier to use, read and understand. The content and the customer’s task come first.

  • 01

    Searchable, readable content

Headings, explanations, links and transcripts live in the HTML. Clear service metadata, canonical URLs, structured data and sitemap entries help crawlers understand the page.

  • 02

    Accessible to AI readers

Plain-language summaries, descriptive sections and maintained discovery files give AI tools accessible source material. No important answer is trapped inside a voice clip or canvas.

  • 03

    Comfortable on a phone

Touch-friendly controls, short captions and safe positioning around content. The companion adapts to small screens, and native app work can be scoped separately.

  • 04

    Sound by invitation

No surprise speech. Visitors choose sound, and can pause or mute it. Captions, transcripts and ordinary navigation carry the explanation in silence.

  • 05

    Motion with restraint

Reduced-motion support, off-screen suspension and on-demand audio keep the character considerate. We budget and measure the real implementation on mobile and desktop.

  • 06

    Clear boundaries

Make it clear when a guide is recorded and when an answer is generated. Avoid unnecessary personal data, scope connected tools and offer a visible route to a person.

SEO and LLM friendliness means accessible, well-structured source content. Search rankings, AI citations and business outcomes depend on more than a mascot and are never guaranteed.

Questions

Before you give your brand a face.

What is an interactive website mascot?

An interactive website mascot is a branded character that responds to visitors and helps them navigate or understand a website. It can combine animation, captions, recorded voice, guided tours and optional AI answers connected to approved content. A mascot can be useful without a live AI model.

Can you design and build a completely original mascot?

Yes. QQuantum designs the character, personality, expressions, motion and voice direction, then builds the production website integration. We can work from an existing brand character or create one from the first sketch. The visual treatment can be pixel art, vector, illustrated or 3D, depending on the brand, devices and performance budget.

Does it work on mobile as well as desktop?

Yes. We build responsive website mascots for phones, tablets and desktop, with touch controls, compact captions and safe placement around content. Mobile web and PWAs can share the web implementation. Native iOS or Android integration is scoped separately around the app’s technology.

Does every mascot need generative AI?

No. A recorded guide can explain a product with consistent, approved copy and predictable running costs. A rules-based guide can help people choose a route. Live AI is an optional layer for open questions, with maintained sources, clear limits and a human handover.

Will a talking mascot affect SEO or AI search visibility?

The important explanation remains in server-rendered page text, links and transcripts. Search engines and AI systems can access it without playing audio or running an animation. We include appropriate metadata, structured data and discovery files, and test performance. This supports access and interpretation; it does not guarantee rankings, citations or inclusion in an AI answer.

Can visitors turn off the voice and animation?

Yes. Voice is optional, controls work with the keyboard, and the explanation is available in text. We respect reduced-motion preferences, provide pause and dismiss controls and keep navigation usable without the character. A microphone is not needed for a recorded tour.

Can a mascot answer questions or connect to our systems?

Yes, when that integration is in scope. We can connect approved product documentation, search or authenticated tools. We define what it can access, distinguish recorded guidance from generated answers, and require explicit confirmation for consequential actions such as purchases or account changes.

What do we own, and what does it cost to run?

The engagement defines delivery of the character artwork, animation assets, source code and integration documentation, alongside any third-party font, voice or model licences. A recorded mascot mainly needs hosting and content maintenance. Live AI, speech recognition or generated speech adds usage-based provider costs. We scope the build and operating costs after reviewing your website and use cases.
