When building for investors, focus is everything. An investor doesn't care if the "Forgot Password" flow works perfectly. They care if the core AI algorithm, the unique data visualization, or the novel transaction engine works.
We work with founders to identify their startup's "Wow" moment — the specific interaction that makes the business model click. We then engineer a prototype entirely around delivering that moment reliably.
The surrounding flows are explicitly mocked, and labelled as mocked in the diligence documentation — hardcoded data where it does not matter, real and robust logic where it does. That labelling is not a formality: an investor who discovers an undisclosed mock during diligence will reasonably treat it as a misrepresentation. Scoping this way keeps cost and time down while putting the engineering where your pitch actually rests.
