QQuantum.ai is an AI consultancy and engineering studio in Barcelona for businesses across Catalonia, Spain and the EU. We build autonomous AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems and workflow automation, with defined permissions, human oversight and EU data residency designed into the architecture from the start.
Barcelona has an unusual concentration of technology companies, industrial and logistics businesses, tourism and hospitality groups, and a substantial startup ecosystem. The AI problems that arrive from each are quite different.
Established industrial and logistics companies typically have two decades of operational data locked in systems that were never designed to be queried, and the valuable work is making it reachable. Product companies usually need AI capability inside what they sell, where evaluation and unit economics decide viability. Startups need something working before the next raise.
We work with all three, and the engagement shape differs accordingly — which is why our enterprise and startup pages describe genuinely different processes rather than the same process in different language.

Yes — most of our work is with companies elsewhere in the EU and further afield. Barcelona is where the team is, not a limit on who we work with. For non-EU clients the main practical difference is timezone overlap, which we are explicit about before starting.
Sí. Trabajamos habitualmente en español, català e inglés. La documentación técnica y el código se entregan normalmente en inglés por convención de la industria, pero las reuniones, los talleres de discovery y la comunicación del día a día pueden ser en el idioma que prefieras.
We can provide the technical documentation and architecture descriptions such applications require. We are not grant consultants and would not position ourselves as one — for the application itself you want someone who does that professionally.
We work in a distributed way rather than from a client-facing office, so meetings happen at your premises or somewhere sensible in the city. If you would like to meet in person in Barcelona, say so when you get in touch and we will arrange it.
